Simply measure your items, customize the layout and mat window opening and choose a frame style. Within about a week, we'll send your handcrafted collage frame right to your door with instructions for mounting the items at home.
It’s everything you love about our collage frames, with a whole new level of flexibility and creative control.
A Collage Frame Built Just for You
Whether it’s postcards from your travels, limited-edition art prints, concert flyers, or even your kids’ drawings, you can now design a custom collage frame to showcase multiple items you already have on hand.
Just like with our printed photo collages, you’ll choose the layout, the number of images, your preferred frame style and mat color.
But instead of uploading image files, you'll select "Artworks on Paper" from the dropdown, and then use the dimensions of your physical pieces to adjust the window openings.
We’ll handle the rest.
Your collage will be handcrafted to museum standards, with precision-cut mat windows that perfectly fit each item, and a gallery-quality frame built to last a lifetime.
Because all of the components we use are archival and acid-free, you won't have to worry about your items being damaged.
In fact, framing paper-based art in a conservation-grade frame is a great way to preserver and protect it, especially if you select one of our acrylic options that protect against damaging UV rays.
How our DIY Custom Collage Works
Ready to build your own collage frame?
- Choose “Artworks on Paper” from the dropdown when starting your collage.
- Select your layout and number of items. Choose from grid-based designs or more creative arrangements.
- Enter mat window dimensions. For the correct size, measure each piece of artwork and then subtract at least 1/4" from each side (e.g. for an 8" x 10" print, enter 7.75" x 9.75") so the artwork doesn’t fall through.
- Adjust spacing and margins to suit your aesthetic.
- Select your acrylic.
- Checkout! Your handcrafted collage ships right to your door, ready for the final step - opening the frame, mounting your items, and hanging on the wall!
