Winter is coming to a close, and in addition to the coming of Spring we feel like celebrating some of the best online custom framing completed by our customers during the early months of 2021.
Whether it's original artwork, a limited edition print, a favorite photo or thoughtful gift, the goal of every custom framing project is the same: Satisfaction, pride and joy over the final work of art on the wall.

Using our DIY custom framing kit, Brandi framed this electrifying print from artist Jennifer Ament in our Natural Maple wood frame with 1.5" of matting.
Natural Maple is typically a great complement to artwork containing lots of white space, as a black frame can create too much contrast while a white frame can disappear into the art.
Each component used in the framing is archival and acid-free. With the addition of our Non-glare, UV-protective picture framing glaze, this print will not be hidden by reflections nor will it fade over time.

Designer Noir Casa pulled off an impeccable frame up of Gee Horton's "If I Ruled the World", and nailed a tricky install to boot. This piece had to fit exactly into this intricate staircase gallery wall, with only 1/4” on each side of the frame.
Our Academie Gold profile, which features a gold trim around the inside of the frame, was the perfect choice to pick up the gold featured in the artwork. If you are ever in doubt, we're here to help you select the right frame for your artwork.

Among the most popular items we see people custom framing are posters based on film, television, pop culture and space. We see a whole lot of framed maps as well.
Our customer Paul, an award-winning photographer and self-professed "design nerd", basically won framing bingo with this incredible selection of artwork and a beautiful layout design. Even the cat is mezmerized.
Given the eye-catching, colorful prints, Paul primarily used our gallery-style White Maple profile so that the images could take center stage. And right in the middle of the gallery wall is an artfully done elevated float mount. Read more about when you might want to float mount your artwork.

The work of mixed media artist Dale Voelker can be found in private collections all across the world.
Four of his pieces were recently framed using Level Frames and installed in a client's home. This symmetrical gallery fits the wall perfectly and creates a warm and inviting space.
For artwork such as this, created with paper and paint on masonite, the materials that go into each of our custom frames are crucial for preservation and protection.
We hope you are feeling inspired to custom frame your own artwork or frame a photo so that it can be enjoyed in your space every day.
We're standing by to help with any and all of your online custom framing needs, and can't wait to see the final results!
