What We Framed in January

January was another busy month framing photos, albums, artwork and other treasured mementos. Below are a few of the more interesting pieces we've had the privilege to custom frame over the last few weeks.

"Chum Chart", a 36 x 24 Limited Edition print from Anthonie Petrie's solo show at Gallery 1988 in LA, entitled "CHARTS."

Seen here custom framed in our Natural Walnut profile and 2.5" off-white matting.

A trio of designs Level printed and framed for Earnest, a new company revolutionizing student loans and refinancing. Natural maple profile with Non-glare glaze, printed on 285g Archival Matte Paper.

Below is a custom framed program, photo, ticket and engraved plaque from Super Bowl XLIX. We created multiple mat window openings, and double-matted with a bottom mat that picked up some of the colors in the program and ticket.

The Avett Brothers' "Emotionalism", custom framed vinyl for our friends at Merchbar, the leading online retailer of music merch.

"Systems of Society" 24 x 36 letterpress poster, custom framed in Natural Maple, with double-matting (off-white and a lower mat in red to match the poster's text).

Large-format image printed by Level on 285g Archival Matte Fine Art paper and custom framed in 1.5" wide, black gallery-style profile and 3" matting. Read more about framing large items in our Guide to Oversize Prints and Frames.

We're still pushing the envelope on custom framing records. A Level customer and huge Jay-Z fan could not decide between two albums, so we devised a way to frame both at once.

Another oversize item, this time a vintage map of the city of Portland. The Natural Walnut profile is our second most popular frame style.
