framed photo with mat review

I am very happy. For many years I have been doing canvas prints. But been anxious to try framing with matting. At least for my image of a rose I am very pleased with how it turned out.

There are definitely cheaper options out there but quality can vary quite dramatically.

I have an old digital photo of my 1 year old and myself resting on a bed watching baseball. Both of our heads of hair were sticking up Alfalfa style as if we'd just risen. I had it framed by Level Frames and gave it to him on his 18th birthday last week. Brought tear and smiles to both of us. A great framing job!

Good website and frame

I used a photo with a relatively low number of pixels but one I had previously successfully printed as an 8 x 10. The website of a prominent competitor would not allow me to simply do a framed print where the photo would be more than about 5 x 7, with over-large margins. The Level site gave me various options including larger ones with one inch margins. The final product, a backstage portrait partly against spotlights has a lot of pop and color in its black frame.

Came out perfect (x4) and Customer Support was great

This was my first time using Level Frames and I am very happy with the outcome. I got four photos framed in varying sizes and using different frames and mats, and they all turned out perfectly. I even threw them a curveball when I realized the next day after placing the order that I had ordered the wrong size for one of the items. I emailed their support email address about it and asked to change the size, and later that day they wrote me back and confirmed that they changed the size as I had requested. I rarely write reviews but I was impressed and grateful. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Couldn’t have been easier so just get it done, frame the special photos you love. The frame and matting look perfect and I’m so glad to finally have some very important memories on view. I especially appreciated the way it was packed for shipping. Next time I think I´ll chance the glass instead of acrylic as I have confidence that it will arrive intact and that I can put it in a hard side suitcase for travel.

Great Quality, but…

Great quality but it did have a misaligned corner with some separation which I normally wouldn’t complain about but it was an $170 frame.
